BJP MP Anurag Thakur launched a scathing attack on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal, questioning his rumored move to the Rajya Sabha amid mounting allegations of corruption.
Addressing speculations that Kejriwal might seek a Rajya Sabha seat from Punjab, Thakur accused him of controlling the Punjab government from behind the scenes. "The Punjab government is run through remote control. I want to ask the people of Punjab—do you want Arvind Kejriwal, who dictates the state from a distance, as an MP from Punjab?" he remarked.

Thakur also targeted Kejriwal over the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report on the controversial liquor policy, which was recently tabled in the Delhi Assembly. He alleged that AAP deliberately suppressed the findings to hide its corruption.
"For years, AAP blocked 14 CAG reports from being presented in the Delhi Vidhan Sabha to prevent the exposure of its scams. Now, under CM Rekha Gupta's leadership, the truth is out. The report proves that the kingpin of the liquor scam is Arvind Kejriwal. To escape scrutiny, he is now making Rajya Sabha MPs vacate their seats and attempting to enter through the backdoor," Thakur stated.
