Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) leader and Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has made it clear that his party expects at least 20 seats in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections to maintain its political relevance within the NDA alliance.

Speaking to reporters, Manjhi said, “It is the demand of the common people and our workers that we need such seats which will save our dignity. If the NDA has sympathy for us in their hearts to grant recognition to our party, then they should give us at least 20 seats in the Bihar Legislative Election.”

Manjhi emphasized that HAM’s support base, particularly among Dalits and marginalized communities, has played a decisive role in past elections. He cautioned that denying his party an adequate number of seats could create discontent among his cadre and supporters.
