The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a major reshuffle in its state leadership on Thursday, appointing new state presidents for Bihar and Rajasthan. Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore has been named the state president of Rajasthan, while Dilip Jaiswal, a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) and the current revenue and land reforms minister in Bihar, will lead the party in Bihar.
Dilip Jaiswal, who has been a prominent figure within the party, previously served as the state treasurer for two decades. In addition to his new role, Jaiswal is also the in-charge of the BJP's Sikkim unit and the managing director of Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College in Kishanganj.
The party?s organizational changes extend beyond Bihar and Rajasthan. Arvind Menon has been appointed as the state in charge of Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep, Harish Dwivedi will oversee Assam, Rajdeep Roy has been assigned to Tripura, Radha Mohan Das Agarwal is the new state president for Rajasthan, and Atul Garg will head the BJP unit in Chandigarh.
