Controversial BJP MLA from Goshamahal, T Raja Singh, claimed on Wednesday (May 29) that he has been receiving death threats. Singh stated that in response to one of the threats, he shared the phone number of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy with the caller.

In a video posted in Telugu on his social media platform X, Singh said, "Those who made threatening calls asked me how many numbers I have. I told them I have another number and gave CM Revanth's number." He further added, "MLAs are getting threatening calls but the police are not heeding it. Then I gave [the callers] the number of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, so that even if he receives the threatening calls, action will be taken. They are threatening to kill me and my family if I work for Dharma."

Singh also shared screenshots of the phone numbers he alleged were used to threaten him. He reiterated that this is not the first time he has received such threats, and despite previous complaints, no action has been taken. "Once again, I'm receiving death threats from multiple numbers today. This isn't the first time I've been targeted with such threats. Despite previous complaints, it seems no action will be taken. Nonetheless, as a responsible citizen, I feel obligated to inform the police department of this situation," Singh stated in his post on X.

Raja Singh has been a controversial figure throughout his political career, often making headlines for his provocative statements and actions. He asserts that the threats are linked to his work for "dharma," a term he uses to describe his religious and political activities. However, his contentious reputation has often overshadowed his claims and actions.
