Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Bihar’s political leadership, alleging that both ruling and opposition leaders have failed to address the suffering of ordinary people.
“Every person in Bihar is troubled, every family is suffering. So when the leaders come into their midst, when they come close to the people, the public will surround them — whether it is Nitish Kumar or any other leader,” Kishor said while addressing a gathering.
He accused state leaders of isolating themselves from the people and relying on police protection. “Those who sit in government bungalows, hiding behind the police and security forces, and who have used lathi (baton) on women and children in Bihar, when they come into the field, the people will question them, surround them, and hold them accountable,” Kishor added.
