Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development works worth ₹358.37 crore in the Nadabet-Suigam region of Banaskantha district. The major push to infrastructure and regional upliftment marks a significant stride in the state’s ongoing focus on border-area development.

During a public address at the event, CM Patel highlighted the importance of Nadabet, a key location near the India-Pakistan border, and reaffirmed the state government's commitment to holistic development of remote and strategic regions. He said that these projects will not only strengthen local infrastructure but also boost employment, tourism, and public services in the area.

The development initiatives include road upgrades, water supply improvements, healthcare enhancements, and rural connectivity works. Several schemes under the state’s border tourism policy are also being implemented to promote Nadabet as a major tourism and cultural heritage site.

CM Patel stated that the government's efforts are aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of "Vikas ka Panchsheel" — inclusive development through connectivity, safety, sustainability, economy, and dignity for all citizens, especially those living in far-flung regions.
