Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 11 years in office, calling it an era of historic transformation for India — from cultural revival to economic growth and fulfilment of long-pending demands of citizens and soldiers alike.
Speaking at an event in Chandigarh, CM Saini said, "For the past 500 years, the nation had been waiting, and finally, under the leadership of Narendra Modi ji, the grand temple of Ram Lalla at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya has been constructed within these last eleven years. The entire country longed for a magnificent and divine temple at the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram and this dream, after five centuries of waiting, has been fulfilled under PM Modi’s leadership. It stands today as a symbol of our cultural pride and deep faith."
On military reforms, he highlighted the fulfilment of the long-pending One Rank One Pension (OROP) demand. "For a long time, our soldiers raised their voices demanding this, but they did not receive the benefit. It is during these eleven years under PM Modi’s leadership that this important work was completed," Saini noted.
He also emphasized India’s sharp rise in economic metrics under Modi’s leadership, stating, "This figure was merely ₹1,521 crore earlier, and it has now increased to ₹23,622 crore — a matter of great pride for the nation. Under the esteemed leadership of PM Narendra Modi, we all know how strongly the country has progressed. If we look at the past ten financial years, India has received approximately $668 billion in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), whereas between the years 2000 to 2014, the FDI inflow was around $323 billion."
Reflecting on India's transformation on the global stage, Saini added, "People were fearful and uncertain about what was going to happen. But in such a time, the people of the country made a decisive choice and entrusted PM Narendra Modi with the responsibility of being the Pradhan Sevak. I am pleased to say that in the past eleven years under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, India which once stood at the eleventh position and was economically unstable has now risen to become the fourth-largest economy in the world. This is a matter of great pride for all of us."
