Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is personally overseeing the process of repatriating the bodies of six Maharashtra residents who were killed in the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The victims, mostly tourists, were among the 26 people who lost their lives in the brutal attack on April 22.

A team from Shiv Sena, led by party members, is on the ground in Srinagar, offering support and assistance to the victims' families. The party workers are helping with the arrangements and ensuring that the families receive all necessary assistance during this difficult time.

Maharashtra state ministers will be present in Mumbai to receive the bodies as they are brought back from Srinagar. Authorities are also making efforts to evacuate stranded tourists from the region, with government teams providing the necessary support for their safe return.
