NCP-SCP leader Jayant Patil, on Wednesday, addressed the nation’s response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that claimed the lives of 26 civilians. Patil emphasized the need for national unity, urging citizens to come together in response to the attack and take a firm stand against Pakistan.

“The countrymen need to come together to give a reply to this attack and teach Pakistan a lesson,” Patil said. “We must remember that our fight is against Pakistan, not against the common man in the country. We have always stated that we will support the government's decision in this matter,” he added.

Patil further called on the Modi government to take decisive action to hold Pakistan accountable for its involvement in such terrorist activities, reiterating his party’s full support for any government action aimed at ensuring national security.
