Patna turned festive on Monday evening as popular educator and YouTuber Khan Sir hosted a grand wedding reception, making his first public appearance with wife AS Khan. The celebration drew high-profile guests, including Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav—but it was a candid moment between the groom and the former Deputy CM that stole the spotlight.
As Tejashwi Yadav greeted Khan Sir at the venue, he playfully asked, “Kya hua, byah kab hua?” (When did you get married?). The crowd erupted in laughter when Khan Sir, never short on wit, responded, “Abhi jo India-Pakistan conflict chal raha tha, usi beech” (Right in the middle of the recent India-Pakistan conflict).
The humorous exchange escalated when Khan Sir jokingly credited Yadav for his secretive wedding style. “Model aap hi ka tha sir... chupchap se karke baad main batana hai. 12-13 log the sir. Jaise aap kiye na, vaise hi. Hum ne socha kahan se copy karenge, aapka hi copy kar liya sir,” he quipped, drawing another round of chuckles from the audience.
Khan Sir, known for his sharp sense of humour and popular coaching videos for competitive exams, previously mentioned in a live session that his wedding was a private affair. The celebration on Monday was the first formal reception, bringing together students, political leaders, and well-wishers from across the state.
The light-hearted banter between Khan Sir and Tejashwi added a personal and humorous touch to an otherwise formal event, highlighting the educator’s growing influence and connection beyond the classroom.
