A fresh political storm has erupted inside the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after its Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha shared a mysterious social media post that is being widely seen as a subtle dig at party chief Arvind Kejriwal.

The post comes at a time when Chadha is already facing internal backlash and was recently removed from a key leadership position within the party.

The Post That Triggered Speculation

Chadha took to Instagram and shared images of a book cover and its opening chapter, highlighting a line that read: “Never Outshine The Master.”

He captioned the post saying, “The timing is hard to ignore. I turned to chapter 1… Some books arrive exactly when they are meant to. Somebody gifted me a book this week. Funny how timing works.”

Though he did not mention anyone directly, the timing and message have sparked intense speculation of an internal rift.

Setback in Party: Removed From Key Role

Just last week, the AAP leadership removed Chadha from his position as Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha.

In a further setback, the party also reportedly informed the Rajya Sabha Secretariat that Chadha should not be allotted time to speak on its behalf, signaling a clear distancing from him.

Chadha Hits Back With ‘Punjab’ Message

A day before the Instagram post, Chadha shared a video from Parliament defending his record.

Responding to criticism from within the party, he wrote:
“To my colleagues… here is a small trailer… Picture abhi baaki hai. Punjab isn’t a talking point for me. It is my home, my duty, my soil, my soul.”

The statement was seen as a direct counter to allegations that he had failed to raise key issues concerning Punjab.

Allegations From Within the Party

Several AAP leaders have accused Chadha of:

• Not raising serious public issues in Parliament
• Focusing more on image-building and PR
• Avoiding aggressive political attacks

Adding to the controversy, senior leader Saurabh Bharadwaj alleged that Chadha had deleted old posts critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP, raising questions about his political stance.

Power Struggle or Misunderstanding?

The developments have triggered speculation of a growing power struggle within AAP, especially between the younger leadership and the party high command.

While the party has not issued an official clarification on the Instagram post, political observers believe that the silence itself is telling.
