Nitish Kumar was sworn in on Thursday as the Chief Minister of Bihar for an unprecedented 10th time, further cementing his position as one of India’s longest-serving political leaders. The oath-taking ceremony, held at Patna’s iconic Gandhi Maidan, was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda, and chief ministers of several BJP-governed states—underscoring the significance of the moment for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
