Amid rising tensions in West Asia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an important conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, focusing on regional stability and global energy concerns.

During the discussion, both leaders reviewed the fast-changing situation in the region and expressed concern over recent developments affecting critical infrastructure. PM Modi strongly conveyed India’s position against attacks targeting energy facilities, highlighting the risks such incidents pose to global markets and supply chains.

A major focus of the conversation was the safety of international shipping routes. The two leaders agreed that it is essential to keep maritime channels open, secure, and uninterrupted, especially at a time when global trade and oil supplies are under pressure.
