In a recent public rally in Bakhtiyarpur, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a jab at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks from a TV interview. Speaking alongside RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Gandhi mocked Modi's comments about divine inspiration and linked it to the ongoing Adani controversy.

Gandhi quipped, "You know why he (PM Modi) has brought this story of Parmatma? Because, after the election when this ED will ask Narendra Modi about Adani, he will say, I don't know, it was asked to me by Parmatma." This statement was in response to Modi's claim in a TV interview where he suggested that he felt a divine purpose behind his existence, especially after the death of his mother.

Addressing the issues of unemployment, Gandhi criticized Modi for his long speeches and accused him of dividing the country. "Modi ji, stop giving long speeches and dividing the country. First, tell this to the people of Bihar, of the country, how many jobs you have given to the youth of the country?" he demanded.

Gandhi further accused Modi of working for a select few wealthy individuals, saying, "Narendra Modi has made 22-25 Raja and Maharaja. Their names are different. Their new names are Adani and Ambani, but they are Raja and Narendra Modi works 24 hrs for them."

During his address, Rahul Gandhi also made a significant promise regarding the Agnipath scheme, vowing to scrap it if the INDIA Alliance comes to power. This scheme has been a point of contention and its potential reversal marks a key promise in Gandhi's campaign.
