'Under Our Rule, Only Rioters Are Afraid, Not The Public': CM Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday launched a sharp attack on previous governments during his visit to Sambhal, declaring that law and order have significantly improved under his administration. Addressing a public gathering, CM Yogi claimed that during earlier regimes, the state was plagued by “anarchy,” where neither daughters nor businessmen felt safe.

“In the past, there was total lawlessness in Uttar Pradesh. Daughters feared stepping outside their homes, and businessmen were forced to live under constant threat. Today, the reality is completely different. Every person in the state feels secure — except for the rioters,” Yogi Adityanath said, to loud applause from the audience.

The Chief Minister asserted that his government’s strict law enforcement has brought peace and security to the people of Uttar Pradesh. “We are not against any community or person. We are only against those who disturb peace. Those who try to spark riots or spread violence are facing the true consequences — and that too, not by us, but by Mahakaal himself,” he said, invoking a symbolic spiritual force to refer to justice and divine punishment.
