Mumbai’s prestigious Lilavati Hospital, a top destination for Bollywood celebrities and politicians, is now entangled in a sensational ₹1,200 crore fraud case, coupled with shocking allegations of black magic rituals performed within its premises. The scandal came to light after a forensic audit ordered by the newly reinstated trustees exposed massive financial irregularities and disturbing occult practices.

Prashant Mehta, son of the hospital’s founder Kishore Mehta, along with former Mumbai Police Commissioner and hospital executive director Param Bir Singh, accused the former trustees, led by Vijay Mehta, of siphoning off hospital funds through fraudulent transactions. According to their findings, the previous management allegedly bypassed procurement protocols and funneled money through external companies, leading to a financial embezzlement of ₹1,200 crore. Three FIRs have already been lodged at Bandra Police Station, detailing separate fraud cases of ₹12 crore, ₹44 crore, and ₹1,200 crore. The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) is now handling the probe, with reports indicating that several accused individuals have fled abroad.

Adding a chilling twist to the case, Mehta and Singh revealed that staff members had long suspected supernatural activities within the hospital premises. Upon investigating the trust chairman’s office, eight earthen pots filled with human bones, hair, and other items linked to occult practices were discovered buried beneath the floor. The entire recovery process was video-documented in the presence of independent witnesses. While a complaint has been submitted to Bandra Police, no FIR has been registered yet for the black magic allegations. The matter has now reached the court, which may direct further police action based on the findings.

Lilavati Hospital, long associated with high-profile celebrities and influential politicians seeking medical care, now faces its darkest controversy yet.
