Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has come out in support of comedian Kunal Kamra, stating that he should not be targeted unfairly and must be given a chance to speak. Amid the ongoing row, Raut emphasized that Mumbai Police remains unbiased and assured that no one should be afraid of the law.
"I talk to everyone. I am a Member of Parliament, anyone can call me. I told him (Kamra) to say whatever he has to and not run away from the law," Raut said.

Taking a strong stand, Raut also demanded special protection for Kunal Kamra, drawing parallels with actor Kangana Ranaut, who was provided Y-plus security during her dispute with the Maharashtra government.
"Kangana was given special security when she had a rift with us. Similarly, Kunal Kamra should also get protection," he asserted.
