Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut recently addressed the media regarding the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections, emphasizing the unity and strategic planning within the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). His statements come in the wake of Uddhav Thackeray's recent tour, which aimed to solidify the alliance?s position following the Lok Sabha results.

?Maharashtra assembly elections will be announced any moment. Lok Sabha results are good in Maharashtra. This was Uddhav Thackeray's first tour after that. His visit was to discuss with the leaders of India Aghadi after the results of the Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, he met all the leaders of India Aghadi and discussed in detail,? Raut said, highlighting the importance of Thackeray?s tour in reinforcing alliance strategies.

Raut reassured that there are no differences within the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition. ?We are facing elections together as three parties. There is an atmosphere of great love and communication between our three parties. We don't have any seat allocation differences, everything is going smoothly,? he noted, underscoring the coalition?s cohesive approach.

The Shiv Sena MP also addressed upcoming meetings and preparations. ?All the three parties are going to have a meeting in Mumbai on August 16. Rahul Gandhi will also come to Maharashtra before the elections. Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar are also on tour. We have a great synergy. We should go together hand in hand while facing the election,? Raut emphasized.

Regarding seat allocation, Raut stated that discussions had taken place in Delhi, and there is no tension over the issue. ?The seat allocation was discussed in the meeting held in Delhi. We have no tension over space allocation. We feel that every seat should have a candidate who has strength and will get elected there. Our formula is that the party which will win more seats will get its seat,? he explained.

When questioned about Uddhav Thackeray?s potential candidacy for Chief Minister, Raut remained non-committal. ?You will know in the future whether Uddhav Thackeray's face will be for the post of Chief Minister or not. This is not the place to say that. Any important decision will be announced by all the three parties,? he concluded.
