Shiv Sena leader Manga Ram was shot dead in a firing incident late last night, confirmed SP Bal Krishan Singla on Saturday. The attack, which began at a local saloon, also left a saloon owner and a child injured.
According to police reports, the assailants first opened fire inside the saloon, injuring one person. They then chased Manga Ram through the streets near a stadium, firing multiple shots before killing him.

"We have registered an FIR based on his wife's statement. A total of six accused have been named in the case. Further investigation is underway," said SP Singla.
