In a fiery address that blended symbolism with political challenge, Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD) National President Tej Pratap Yadav took a direct swipe at his detractors, declaring that the people of Bihar are rallying behind his party’s new vision. Speaking at a public gathering in Aya, Yadav said his movement represents the real voice of the people — one that cannot be silenced or sidelined.
“This is not just a city, this is a smart village,” Yadav said, describing Aya as a model for grassroots transformation. In a veiled reference to internal rifts, he added, “Five Jai Chandras have thrown us out of the family and organization, and the Green Party is here.”
Yadav, known for his outspoken style and colorful metaphors, then turned his remarks into a symbolic political message. “Remove the green gamcha — it won’t work here; only the yellow gamcha will,” he declared to cheers from the crowd, referring to the yellow scarf that has become an emblem of his Janshakti Janata Dal’s identity.
Asserting that his party’s strength lies in people’s support rather than political alliances, Yadav said, “We are truly among the people.” He added that the JJD’s agenda is centered on empowering rural communities, creating employment, and giving youth a stronger voice in governance.
