In a significant success for security forces, a top Maoist commander was reportedly killed in an encounter in Andhra Pradesh’s Alluri Sitharamaraju district on Tuesday morning. According to sources cited by NDTV, the slain Maoist has been identified as Madvi Hidma, one of the most wanted insurgent leaders in the region.
