Thane Police have issued a notification on their official social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), informing citizens of the following traffic restrictions:
No Parking Zones:
- Thane Station to Ghodbunder Road Service Road
- D-Mart to Titan Hospital
- Ovala to Waghbil Naka
In these areas, citizens will not be allowed to park their vehicles during the PM’s visit.
Road Closures: Several roads will be closed for regular traffic on the day of PM Modi’s visit:
- Titan Hospital to D-Mart (Service Road): Vehicles will be stopped at Titan Hospital.
- Alternate Route: Motorists can use the main road from Ovala signal, taking the Kasarvadavli, Anand Nagar, and Waghbil Road to reach their destination.
- Waghbil Naka to Ovala (Service Road): Vehicles will be stopped at Waghbil Naka signal.
- Alternate Route: Motorists can drive via TJSB Chowk and Children Traffic Park to reach Anand Nagar and Kasarvadavli. Alternatively, they can use the main road under Waghbil Bridge to reach Ovala.
Key Diversions:
- Service Road from Titan Hospital to D-Mart: Vehicles will not be allowed to pass through this stretch.
- Service Road from Waghbil Naka to Ovala: This route will also remain closed for traffic during the event.
