In a brave and compassionate act, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar saved a woman trapped under a lorry in Manakondur village, located in Telangana’s Karimnagar district, on Monday. The incident, which has since captured widespread attention, unfolded when Kumar was on his tour of Huzurabad.

As per reports from the news agency, the woman, identified as Divya Shree from Kalleda village, was severely injured after being trapped under the truck. Kumar, noticing the gravity of the situation, immediately stopped his convoy and rushed to the scene to assist the woman.

Shree’s hair was caught under one of the truck’s tyres, which led to her entrapment. Without wasting time, Kumar directed the locals to cut the portion of her hair stuck under the tyre, facilitating her safe extraction from the truck. His leadership in organizing the rescue operation was pivotal, as he coordinated with the locals to free the woman while ensuring no further harm came to her.

A video of the rescue, now circulating on social media, shows the woman trapped under the lorry with part of her hair pinned beneath the truck’s wheel. Although the woman had reportedly been hit by the truck, her precise condition prior to the rescue remains unclear. The video captures the quick actions taken by Kumar and others to ensure her immediate relief.

Following the rescue, the Union Minister arranged for Shree’s treatment at Life Line Private Hospital in Karimnagar. Kumar assured the hospital authorities that he would personally bear the medical expenses for her treatment, demonstrating his commitment to ensuring her well-being.

As of now, Shree’s condition is reported to be stable, and she is undergoing medical treatment. The incident has not only highlighted Bandi Sanjay’s quick response in a crisis but also earned praise from various quarters for his humanitarian efforts.

At this time, it is not yet clear whether a formal case has been registered in connection with the incident. However, the heroic rescue by the Union Minister has been widely acknowledged as a timely and selfless act in a moment of emergency.
