UPSC Declares Results For Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam 2024: What You Need To Know

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024, marking a crucial milestone for thousands of aspirants across India. Conducted on June 16 at various centers nationwide, the preliminary exam serves as the first step towards the prestigious Civil Services.

Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. Here’s a step-by-step guide to accessing your results:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Navigate to www.upsc.gov.in.
  2. Locate the Result Link: On the homepage, find and click on the link titled “Result – CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAMINATION, 2024”.
  3. Check Your Roll Number: Once you click on the link, the result list will be displayed on the screen. Look for your roll number among the qualified candidates.
  4. Download and Print: If your roll number appears in the list, download the result and take a printout for future reference.

Candidates who have successfully qualified in the preliminary exam are now eligible to appear for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2024. However, it is mandatory for them to fill the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the mains exam. The UPSC will soon activate the DAF-I application window on its official website, with dates to be announced shortly.

In addition to the DAF-I application process, UPSC will also release the marks, answer keys, and cut-off marks for the Civil Services Prelims Examination 2024 after the declaration of the final results.

Aspirants are advised to regularly visit the UPSC website and stay updated with official announcements regarding the DAF-I application and further examination details.
