Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s participation in the much-awaited ‘Gandhi Bharat’ event in Belagavi today is now in question, with sources indicating that the former Congress president may skip the event due to health issues. While Gandhi’s presence was earlier confirmed, reports suggest that he is unwell and may not attend after all.

As of now, the Congress party has not issued any official statement confirming or denying Rahul Gandhi’s health condition, leaving the situation uncertain. The ‘Gandhi Bharat’ event, scheduled to take place in Belagavi, is one of the Congress party’s biggest events of the year, marking the centenary of Mahatma Gandhi presiding over the historic Congress session in 1924.

Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara had previously stated that the “entire leadership” of the Congress party would be present at the event, which includes top leaders such as party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Sonia Gandhi, Siddaramaiah, and other senior Congress functionaries.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding Rahul Gandhi’s health, the event will still proceed with the attendance of several key Congress leaders, ensuring that the commemoration of Gandhi’s historic session remains a significant moment for the party.
