In preparation for the grand Prayagraj Maha Kumbh 2025, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed local authorities to implement comprehensive arrangements to ensure a hassle-free experience for the millions of pilgrims expected to visit Ayodhya.
With estimates suggesting that 40-45 crore devotees will attend the Kumbh, many are expected to stop by the holy city of Ayodhya. To accommodate the influx, CM Adityanath has called on the local administration to prioritize safety, cleanliness, crowd management, and adequate shelter facilities, particularly during the winter months.
?Devotees visiting Ayodhya during the cold season must not face any inconvenience,? the Chief Minister stated. He emphasized the need for provisions such as bonfires to provide warmth for pilgrims and to enhance their comfort. The administration was also asked to ensure proper arrangements for worship and to maintain the sanctity of Ayodhya's key religious sites, including Ramlala, Hanumangarhi, and Suryakund, all of which are anticipated to draw large numbers of visitors.
In a review meeting held at Acharya Narendra Dev Agricultural University in Kumarganj, CM Yogi Adityanath took stock of the preparations. During the meeting, he received a detailed report from Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal, who outlined the measures in place for security, crowd control, and lodging facilities. The Chief Minister, after reviewing the plans, gave clear instructions to ensure smooth operations throughout the event.
The meeting also saw the presence of senior district officials, police personnel, and representatives from the local administration. CM Adityanath also interacted with BJP workers, reiterating his commitment to preserving Ayodhya's spiritual significance and ensuring a welcoming environment for the pilgrims visiting the city during the Kumbh.
