During a high-level review meeting, the CM instructed officials to recover the cost of property damage from the culprits and ensure no miscreants escape justice.

Key Directives from the CM:

  1. Accountability in Sambhal Violence:
Adityanath emphasized strict measures against those involved in the Sambhal violence. “Identify the troublemakers, put up their posters, seek public support, and conduct extensive search operations,” he said. He also mandated that damages to public property caused during the unrest be recovered from the perpetrators.
  2. Crackdown on Encroachments:

  3. Preparedness for Sensitive Dates:
    • Mahaparinirvan Diwas (December 6): Adityanath called for heightened vigilance to ensure peaceful observances of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s death anniversary. He warned against potential disruptions and stressed the importance of comprehensive arrangements.
    • Good Governance Day (December 25): Marking the centenary of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the CM urged officials to maintain peace during Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and related festivities.
  4. Improved Grievance Redressal:
Adityanath directed officials to address public grievances with sensitivity. Whether through the IGRS, CM Helpline, or local complaints at police stations and tehsils, he emphasized resolving issues respectfully and effectively.
  5. Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Preparations:
The CM highlighted the importance of timely preparations for the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, scheduled from January 13 to February 26, 2024. With an expected influx of 45 crore pilgrims and tourists, districts linked to pilgrimage destinations such as Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura, and Vindhyadham were directed to ensure seamless arrangements.
