Ahmedabad witnessed a tense and chaotic scene on Wednesday at the Seventh-Day Adventist School in Khokhra, following the tragic death of a Class 10 student allegedly stabbed by a Class 8 student. The deceased student, reportedly from the Sindhi community, became the center of outrage as relatives stormed the school premises, damaging property in their anger.

Police deployed a heavy presence at the school to prevent further escalation, as visuals of the ransacking and heated confrontations circulated widely online. The incident has drawn attention from community groups and political activists, with some Hindu organizations and members of the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) reportedly joining the protests, leading to further clashes on school grounds.

"Two students had a dispute yesterday, which escalated into one stabbing the other. People protested outside and caused damage to the school. Police intervened in time and the situation is under control now. The antim yatra of the child will be held this evening with police supervision," DCP Crime Branch Sharad Singhal told ANI.

Reports indicate that the confrontation between the two students had roots in a scuffle that occurred a week prior. On Tuesday, the argument reignited, resulting in the younger student allegedly stabbing the Class 10 student with a knife. The injured student was immediately taken to a hospital, and authorities informed the family.
