Kriti Kumari, an employee at a private company, was brutally killed at Bhargavi Staying Homes For Ladies in Venkatreddy Layout, a location less than two kilometers from the Koramangala police station. The horrific incident occurred around 11:30 pm when the accused sneaked into the hostel and attacked Kriti near her room on the third floor, slitting her throat and inflicting multiple stab wounds. She succumbed to her injuries on the spot.

The police launched an immediate investigation, registering a case and forming a special team to track down the suspect. Preliminary investigations suggested that the attacker was familiar with the victim, further supported by the negligence of the PG hostel owner, which facilitated the crime.

Abhishek will be brought back to Bengaluru for questioning to determine the motive behind the murder. According to police reports, Kriti was a colleague of Abhishek's girlfriend, which may have contributed to the motive.

The arrest marks a crucial step in resolving the case, bringing some relief to the community and the victim's family. Authorities are now focused on thoroughly investigating the circumstances leading to the murder and ensuring that justice is served.
