Congress leader Udit Raj has alleged receiving multiple death threats following remarks made by BSP chief Mayawati and party national coordinator Akash Anand. Raj claimed that after their social media posts, he started receiving threatening calls, with some even announcing a reward for his murder.
"You can check the tweets of Mayawati and Akash Anand; their threatening tone has triggered these threats against me. I have recorded about 30 such calls and have sought time from the Police Commissioner for my security. Despite lodging a complaint on February 18, no action has been taken by the police," Raj stated.

The Congress leader further alleged that whenever he is active in Uttar Pradesh, BSP targets him. "Mayawati has betrayed the Bahujan Samaj and now feels threatened by me," he added.
