In a strong and uncompromising message following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared on Thursday that the Narendra Modi-led government will not rest until terrorism is completely eradicated from the country. Speaking at an event in Assam, Shah asserted that the fight against terrorism is far from over and warned that no terrorist would be spared.

“Terrorists should not think they have won the war. This fight is not over yet. Chun chun ke badla lenge (we will take revenge on all terrorists),” Shah said, sending a clear signal to those responsible for the deadly ambush.

He stressed that the central government remains resolute in its mission. “...If someone, by doing a cowardly attack, thinks that it is their big victory, then understand one thing, this is the Narendra Modi government, no one will be spared. It is our resolve to uproot terrorism from every inch of this country and it will be accomplished,” the Home Minister stated, as reported by ANI.

Highlighting India’s growing international support in the fight against terror, Shah added, “Not only 140 crore Indians but the whole world is standing with India in this fight, all the countries of the world have come together and are standing with the people of India in this fight against terrorism.”

His remarks come amid heightened tensions and nationwide outrage following the Pahalgam terror attack, which resulted in multiple casualties and has reignited debates around national security and the future of counter-terror operations in Jammu and Kashmir.
