In a dramatic political shake-up in Telangana, BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda has officially accepted the resignation of Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh from the Bharatiya Janata Party. The development comes amid internal dissent and protests over the recent appointment of N. Ramchander Rao as the new state BJP president.

Raja Singh, known for his firebrand Hindutva image, submitted his resignation last week, accusing the BJP central leadership of ignoring senior grassroots leaders and sidelining loyal party workers. In his resignation letter, Singh expressed deep disappointment over what he described as the imposition of leadership without democratic process and transparency.

The resignation has come as a blow to the BJP’s efforts to consolidate its base in Telangana, especially after Raja Singh's popularity surged in the Goshamahal constituency and among core Hindutva voters. His absence could create a vacuum in the party’s aggressive campaign strategy in the state.

Raja Singh had reportedly attempted to contest the internal party election for state president but was denied the opportunity due to lack of endorsements from other MLAs. He later alleged that internal sabotage and backdoor politics had forced his exit.

While Singh has stepped away from the party, he has maintained that he will continue to fight for Hindutva causes independently. On the other hand, the BJP high command has reaffirmed its support for N. Ramchander Rao and emphasized the need for unity and discipline within the organization.
