In a fiery address that electrified party workers in Andhra Pradesh, BJP national president and Union Health Minister JP Nadda declared that the Bharatiya Janata Party has officially become the largest political party in the world with a staggering 14 crore members, including 2 crore active members.
“We are not just India’s biggest party, we are the world’s biggest party,” thundered Nadda, as the crowd erupted in cheers. He reminded that the BJP today governs 13 states outright, leads the NDA in 20 states, and represents the people through 240 Lok Sabha MPs, 1,500 MLAs and over 170 MLCs, making it the largest representative political force in the nation’s history.
Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Nadda said the last 11 years of the NDA regime have been defined by performance, accountability and responsibility. “Under Modi ji, India has seen a politics of delivery, not deception,” he asserted, contrasting it sharply with Congress governments of the past which he accused of indulging in “family politics, corruption and appeasement” while leaving promises unfulfilled.
Nadda also highlighted the Centre’s work in Andhra Pradesh, noting that ₹15,000 crore has been sanctioned for the development of Amaravati, the state’s capital. He credited the Modi government with bringing projects and investments that earlier regimes had failed to deliver.
“We come from a party that has a strong ideological base. The BJP believes in nation first, not family first,” Nadda declared, adding that today’s India is witnessing a new era of development and decisive governance under the NDA.
