Maharashtra Minister Shambhuraj Desai launched a scathing attack on comedian Kunal Kamra, accusing him of deliberately disrespecting top leaders, including Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and even the Supreme Court of India.
"Kunal Kamra does such things deliberately. He disrespected Dy CM Eknath Shinde, Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, PM Narendra Modi and even Supreme Court of India. Now is the time to answer him like Shiv Sena does," Desai said, making it clear that the party would not take the matter lightly.
Asserting that they were Shiv Sena members first before being ministers, Desai warned Kamra of consequences. "We are ministers but first we are members of Shiv Sena and hold the power to respond to him likewise," he stated.

He further revealed that Deputy CM Eknath Shinde had assured them that legal action would be taken against Kamra. "Dy CM has told us that the action against him will be taken as per the law. If he has the courage, he should come out in public and make statements, but he hides and makes such remarks," Desai remarked, challenging the comedian to step forward.
The minister also said that he would personally speak to Deputy CM Shinde and urge police officials to locate Kamra and take appropriate action. "We will talk to Dy CM and ask the police officers to find him (Kamra) and take appropriate action," he added.
