West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has called for communal harmony ahead of Ram Navami celebrations, urging all communities to maintain peace. "They are doing a rally on Ram Navami. We want it to be peaceful. Everyone will do puja... I request everyone and all communities to maintain peace. Don't create a riot-like situation," she said.
Taking a swipe at her political rivals, Banerjee asserted, "We will follow Ramakrishna, not jumla party. We will follow Vivekananda, not jumla party." She reiterated her appeal against any disruptions, saying, "I repeat, don't try to disturb each other's programs and festivals."
