A shocking case of rape has come to light from Haryana’s Faridabad, where a 25-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted by two men inside a moving vehicle late Monday night. After the attack, the woman was reportedly pushed out of the van and left injured on a major road connecting Faridabad and Gurugram.

According to police officials, the incident took place on the night of December 29 when the woman was trying to return home. Struggling to find public transport, she accepted a lift in a van that already had two men inside. Soon after, she realised that the vehicle was not heading towards her destination. Instead, the driver allegedly diverted the route towards an isolated stretch of the Gurugram–Faridabad road.

The survivor told investigators that both men assaulted her inside the vehicle while it was in motion. Despite her cries for help, no immediate assistance came her way due to poor visibility, foggy conditions, and sparse traffic on the road at that hour.

After the assault, the accused allegedly dumped her near Raja Chowk in the SGM Nagar area and fled. The woman sustained serious facial injuries and later required stitches. She managed to contact her sister, who rushed her to a private hospital in Faridabad, where she is currently undergoing treatment.

Following a complaint lodged by the victim’s family, Faridabad police registered an FIR and launched a search operation. Within hours, a crime branch team detained two suspects in connection with the case. Officials said a detailed investigation is underway, and further action will be taken based on medical reports and forensic evidence.
