Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday emphasized India’s ability to host large-scale events like Maha Kumbh 2025, stating that the country is continuously making headlines for its achievements and progress. Speaking at NXT Conclave 2025, PM Modi asserted that India does not need to "manufacture" news as every day brings new milestones.

"People from around the world want to come to India. Today, India is a country where positive news is being created daily. There is no need to ‘manufacture’ news—new records are being set every day," PM Modi said.

The Maha Kumbh of Unity 2025, which concluded on February 26, saw over 66 crore devotees taking a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. The event, coinciding with Maha Shivratri, showcased India's organizational and innovative capabilities, leaving the world amazed at how such a massive spiritual gathering was seamlessly managed.

India’s Global Leadership in AI & Economy

Highlighting India's role in shaping the future, PM Modi recalled his participation in the AI Summit in France, which he co-chaired with French President Emmanuel Macron. He announced that India is now set to host the next AI Summit, reinforcing its leadership in technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

"India successfully hosted the G20 Summit, introduced the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC), and amplified the voice of the Global South by inducting the African Union into the G20. For us, even island nations are a priority," he added.
