The Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), under the leadership of Prakash Ambedkar, has released its fifth list of candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections, unveiling 16 names in a strategic move to strengthen its presence across the state. Among the highlighted candidates are seven nominees from the Mumbai suburbs, including Airoli in Navi Mumbai, Jogeshwari East, Dindoshi, Malad, Andheri East, Ghatkopar West, Ghatkopar East, and Chembur. Notably, the VBA has chosen Mangaldas Nikalje to represent Baramati, a significant constituency currently held by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
