Priyanka Gandhi’s Fiery Attack In Bihar: 'PM Modi Should Form A ‘Ministry Of Insults’ Instead Of Diverting Public From Real Issues'

In a sharp and sarcastic attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched an all-out offensive against the BJP during a rally in Sonbarsa, Bihar, ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections. Addressing a large gathering, she accused PM Modi of deliberately diverting public attention from pressing national issues such as unemployment, inflation, and industrial growth.

Priyanka Gandhi ridiculed the Prime Minister’s repeated claims of being “disrespected” by the opposition and said, “It seems the Prime Minister spends more time counting insults than solving problems. Maybe he should set up a new department for it — a Ministry of Insults.”

Continuing her pointed criticism, she added, “Whenever he visits any state, he says the opposition has insulted its people — in Karnataka, West Bengal, and now in Bihar. He keeps talking about ancient history or imaginary disrespect, but never about the real issues that concern people’s lives.”

The Congress leader said that the Prime Minister and his government were wasting valuable time on propaganda instead of addressing the challenges facing the country’s youth and working class. “PM Modi’s time, as well as that of the Home Minister, is very valuable. They should use it to create jobs, strengthen infrastructure, and attract industries — not to make false claims about Congress or the Gandhi family,” she said.

Taking a jibe at the BJP’s political narrative, Priyanka added humorously, “If he is so concerned about who insulted him, let him open a Ministry of Insults and build a library dedicated to all the times he believes my family disrespected him. He can fill it with books if he likes.”

Her remarks drew loud cheers from the crowd as she accused the BJP of misleading people with emotional rhetoric while ignoring ground realities. The speech comes just weeks before the Bihar Assembly elections, where the Congress is part of the Mahagathbandhan alliance led by Tejashwi Yadav.
