Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Mukesh Ahlawat has made a sensational claim, alleging that he received a mysterious call offering him “benefits” after the elections. He linked the call to BJP MP Parvesh Verma, stating that the caller claimed the meeting was arranged by Verma.

“Around 12 PM, I received a call from someone saying they wanted to meet me and that Parvesh Verma had arranged the call. I asked why they wanted to meet, as we are from Aam Aadmi Party, and they replied, ‘It’s for your benefit,’” Ahlawat said.

He further questioned the intent behind the offer, stating, “I asked, ‘What kind of benefit? The elections are already over; such discussions should have happened earlier.’ They responded, ‘No, you should understand, there are other benefits too…’”

The allegations have sparked controversy, with AAP demanding a probe into the matter. Meanwhile, BJP has yet to respond to Ahlawat’s claims. The incident has raised concerns over post-election dealings and political maneuvering.
