Kumki elephants are specially trained for capturing and controlling wild elephants, and their assistance is sought to address issues related to human-wildlife conflict in Andhra Pradesh.

During the meetings, Pawan Kalyan emphasized the need for these trained elephants to manage and mitigate the increasing instances of wild elephants encroaching into human settlements in Andhra Pradesh. The Kumki elephants would help in safely guiding wild elephants back into their natural habitats and preventing potential damage and conflicts.
