Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N. Chandrababu Naidu will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in Vijayawada on June 12, the party announced on Friday.
Naidu's oath-taking ceremony is scheduled for 11:27 a.m., an auspicious time chosen by his advisors. The event will be held near Kesarapalli IT Park, close to the Gannavaram Airport in Vijayawada. Governor S. Abdul Nazeer will administer the oath of office and secrecy.
The ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his Cabinet members, chief ministers from various states, and leaders from the BJP and other NDA partners. The location near the airport was selected to minimize inconvenience for the Prime Minister and other VIPs.
This will mark Naidu's fourth term as Chief Minister. He previously served as the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh from 1995 to 2004 and as the Chief Minister of the residuary state of Andhra Pradesh from 2014 to 2019. The 74-year-old leader's return to office comes after a significant political career, demonstrating his enduring influence in the region.
