Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has accused the previous Samajwadi Party (SP) government of favoritism, claiming that financial aid was selectively given to party affiliates, unlike the BJP government, which ensures equal benefits for all.
"For the last more than seven years, money is being given to the public from the 'Mukhyamantri Vivekadhin Kosh' without any discrimination. When the Samajwadi Party was in power, only people associated with them received funds," Yogi Adityanath stated. He emphasized that under the BJP government, financial assistance is provided transparently and based on policy.

Highlighting his government's achievements in healthcare, the Chief Minister pointed out that from India’s independence until 2017, Uttar Pradesh had only 17 government medical colleges. "After our government was formed, a medical college is being built in every district," he added.
