Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha on Monday reacted strongly to the news of Rohini Acharya, daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, stepping away from politics and distancing herself from her family.
Speaking on the matter, Sinha said, "This is an insult to strength, daughters, sisters, and mothers. It is about respecting our Sanatan culture. Where such tears are shed, there is neither peace nor happiness. Its destruction and decay are certain. In a house where a father’s daughter is insulted, where a father’s sons are pushed aside, and where a person’s health suffers, being forcibly dragged into politics is the consequence of their own actions."
The remarks highlight the ongoing political and personal tensions within the Yadav family following Rohini Acharya’s decision to step away from public life and political responsibilities. Her move has sparked debates across political circles in Bihar, with many viewing it as a reflection of the larger challenges and pressures faced by political families.
