US President Donald Trump, addressing the Governors' Working Session, made strong remarks on the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, calling it a "killing field" and vowing to bring the conflict to an end. He emphasized that negotiations are underway with both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian officials to reach a resolution.
“We've had the highest poll numbers, actually a record for Republicans. I want to thank everybody. We have had a historic four weeks,” Trump said, before shifting focus to global affairs. “We are negotiating with Russia and Ukraine over the war situation. It is a killing field. It is bad for all of us,” he stated.

Trump expressed concern over the massive destruction caused by the war, highlighting the dire humanitarian crisis. “You have a country where cities are looking like demolition sites. Millions of people were killed. We are not going to let this continue—this war is terrible,” he asserted.
The former president-turned-incumbent, known for his tough stance on foreign policy, signaled his commitment to ending the war. “I have had talks with Putin and Ukraine… we will work together. We can do a lot,” he said, reassuring both American citizens and the global community.
