Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, while inaugurating the Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital in Delhi, unveiled an ambitious vision to significantly boost the capital’s healthcare infrastructure. She emphasized that quality medical treatment is a right for every citizen, whether provided by public or private institutions.

Highlighting the government’s intent to strengthen both sectors, the Chief Minister announced plans to expand private healthcare under the Ayushman Bharat scheme and accelerate the development of medical infrastructure in the city.

She also addressed the long-delayed projects from the COVID-19 era, stating that seven partially completed hospital buildings will now be transformed into dedicated Super Speciality ICU hospitals. Each will focus on a specific area of critical care — including cancer treatment, high-risk deliveries, kidney transplants, and other complex medical conditions.
