Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis praised the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in supporting farmers, stating, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The state government launched the Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana. The farmers of the state will get Rs 12 thousand. We are giving money in three instalments. Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 20th instalment. We have deposited the money in the farmers' account.”

Under this scheme, eligible farmers in Maharashtra receive financial assistance of Rs 12,000 annually, disbursed in three instalments to support agricultural activities and improve their livelihoods. The initiative reflects the combined efforts of the Central and State Governments to ensure direct benefit transfer to farmers and enhance transparency in fund distribution.
