Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Thursday announced that infrastructure projects worth ₹3 lakh crore will be completed in Madhya Pradesh within this year, promising a massive economic transformation for the state. Speaking at an event in Dhar, Gadkari declared, “In Madhya Pradesh, within this year, we will complete infrastructure projects worth ₹3 lakh crore. That’s my promise.”

He asserted that the development will not be limited to roads alone but will unlock larger economic opportunities. “Once you're connected to Delhi and Mumbai, the value of your land will increase, industries will come, godowns will be built, industrial clusters will emerge, and employment will be generated,” Gadkari said. “People will be freed from poverty and hunger.”
