In a major push to promote adventure tourism in Gujarat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the state’s first-ever ‘Dharoi Adventure Fest’ on the scenic banks of the Dharoi Dam, located on the border of Mehsana and Sabarkantha districts. The high-energy event marks a significant milestone in Gujarat’s efforts to showcase its untapped natural beauty through thrilling outdoor experiences.
Joined by State Tourism Minister Mulubhai Bera and a host of dignitaries, CM Patel kickstarted the festival by unveiling the adventure zone—a specially curated site for water sports, nature trails, and air-based recreational activities. The Chief Minister also took part in the festivities himself, enjoying a speedboat ride on the sparkling waters of the dam.
In a bid to offer a holistic tourist experience, the Chief Minister also inaugurated a newly constructed tent city, giving visitors a chance to stay amidst nature with all modern amenities. The tent city features glamping options, cultural performances, and locally inspired cuisine, aimed at promoting rural and eco-tourism.
