In a major political reshuffle, the Gujarat BJP government on Friday announced its new 26-member cabinet, marking significant changes in the state leadership. State Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister, while Rivaba Jadeja, wife of renowned cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, was inducted as a minister.
The oath-taking ceremony took place at the Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar, with Governor Acharya Devvrat presiding over the event. Sanghavi, who had a resounding victory in the 2022 Assembly elections, defeated an AAP candidate by over one lakh votes, cementing his political clout in the state.
